Pinocchio Auditions - Information

Auditions are Sat. Sep. 25, from 10 -1. I ask that you do come at 10am, and stay for at least 2 hours. If you can't make it by 10 am, please email me at CCPDirector@gmail.com as soon as possible. I plan on staying til 1 to hear everyone who would like to audition. Auditions will be reading from the script.

The script calls for 16-17 actors.
2 women 14-94
3 men 14-94
2 adults 14 -94
3 girls 10 -18
3 boys 10 -18
3 kids 10-18.

For those new to CCP, and for those who need to remember, you will need 2 days off of school or work, Oct. 27 and Oct. 28, Wed. and Thurs. We perform in the daytime on those 2 days. We also perform Sat. Oct. 30, at 7 pm.

Plan on rehearsals about 3 nights a week for the first 3 weeks after auditions, and the closer we get to performance days, the more nights of rehearsal. I will also be holding rehearsals on Saturdays in Oct.: 10/9, 10/16, and 10/23. A more detailed rehearsal schedule will be posted when I have it.

Remember to fill out the audition form on the main website, and bring it to auditions. If you are under 16, a parent needs to come with you to auditions, and sign the form.

I will hand out homework the first week of rehearsal. We'll learn some warm-ups together the first week, but then you will be warming up on your own before rehearsal. Parents, be fore-warned!

Finally - WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP SEW COSTUMES, so be sure to put on the audition form if you know anyone would be able to help out by sewing at home.

If you have any questions, any questions at all, I'll be happy to answer them, send me an email at
gigishank@charter.net

See you on Sep. 25!
